Legacy Campus AutoCare was created to make vehicle service easier to understand, easier to coordinate and more convenient for the YSU community.

Whether a vehicle needs routine maintenance, new tires, brake service, diagnostics or a more extensive repair, our team will listen, inspect the concern and explain what we find in plain language. Customers receive clear recommendations and an estimate before additional work begins.

Vehicle trouble rarely happens at a convenient time. A warning light can appear on the way to class. A weak battery can leave a student stranded before work. A tire concern can interrupt an internship commute. Worn brakes or unreliable heat can become a bigger issue as Youngstown weather changes.

See What We See with Digital Vehicle Inspections

Transparency is an important part of how Legacy does business. As part of our diagnostic and estimate process, Legacy provides a Digital Vehicle Inspection, giving customers a visual look at what our technicians are seeing on their vehicle. The inspection includes video documentation of identified concerns so customers can actually see the issues being discussed rather than relying only on a verbal explanation.

If we are talking about worn brakes, a leaking component, damaged suspension, tire wear or another concern, our goal is to show you what we are seeing and explain why we are making a recommendation. The Digital Vehicle Inspection can be shared directly with the vehicle owner and, with the student’s authorization, with a parent or guardian who may be helping review or pay for the repair.

For a parent several hours away, that can make a big difference. Instead of trying to understand a vehicle problem over the phone, families can review the same visual information the student and Legacy team are discussing. It is another way Legacy works to make automotive repair more transparent, easier to understand and less intimidating.

When a student is living away from home, an unexpected vehicle issue can be especially stressful. Families may not know which local shop to call, whether the recommendations are reasonable or how to help their student coordinate service from another city or state.
